“We Saw Blue: An Audio Visual Journey Through Brasil” is the culmination of a three year project that tells the origin story and ethos of Ley Line while paying homage to the culture and landscape that has inspires our music. This innovative piece began with a four month journey through Brasil in 2017. A series of collaborations with local artists and a deep engagement with the landscape and folklore of the regions we visited inspired an album by the same name. This music then became the soundtrack to footage captured over the course of several years. Interviews with artists, activists and cultural custodians weave together a story of connection and collective growth. The final product is part documentary and part visual album, a fully immersive window into the beauty and complexity of human connection.
